    Decoding Skylark 1965 body plate

    Hi, can anyone decode this body plate from my Buick Skylark 1965 convertible?

    Body color is Seafoam Green but what is no 6 and the star?
    The top has been replaced once and it seems like it could have had same color as interior when it was new.
    The interior might be Saddle or Fawn?

    The car is equipped with radio, bench seat, power steering, windows, and top.
    Engine is 250 HP 300cui, 4 barrel carb. and automatic transmission

    The trim code 516 doesn't make sense and factory is probably Flint.

    I really need to know the original color of top and interior?

    Thankful for help, Hasse

    03A
    ST 65-44467 FB 106505
    TR SCO-516 H6 * PAINT
    X 2XP

    03A = build date = March (03) 1965, first week (A)

    ST = style
    65 = 1965 model year
    44476 = Fisher body style number
    4 = Buick
    44 = Skylark V8
    67 = 2-door convertible

    FB = body built at Flint, MI
    106505 = sequential body number

    TR = Trim
    SCO = Special Car Order
    516 = 516th SCO
    (would probably need a build sheet to try and figure out what made the trim SCO)

    H = Seafoam Green Metallic
    6 = Beige covertible top
    * = nobody has ever figured out what the star means, but I've only seen it on 1962-1966 Flint body tags

    Accessory option codes:

    Group 1
    X = Power Window (Except Vents)

    Group 2
    X = ST-300 auto trans
    P = Back-up Lights

    Thanks

    Thanks a lot
    I guess the interior color is hidden in the mysterious 516.
    Is there anyone who can figure out the interior color by my attached images?

    I might buy a new after market steeringwheel and therefore I need the color code.
    Or is there a wheel for sale out there?
    Thanks Hasse
