Sorry, the serial number doesn't tell you much:
1 = car built at Flint, MI
5765197 = sequential number, range for Flint in 1950 was 5,360,001 to 6,031,255
Convertible bodies were built at Flint. Buick did on occasion ship the convertible bodies to other plants for final assembly, which was indicated on the trim tag. So having a Flint serial number doesn't guarantee that it is a convertible.
