would be best to make a plate with socket or nut welded to it and use the flywheel end. is there only 4 little bolts on the damper? could make a plate for it? pulled the pan or head? if its that stuck pull the head and crocus cloth the cyl walls.
I have a 46 Roadmaster with the 320. The car had been sitting since 1981 and the motor is stuck. I have tried numerous methods to free the motor, with all the various loosening fluids and removing the rocker assembly and distributor. I have actually managed to turn the motor one revolution by using a floor jack on the flywheel. Is anyone aware of a tool that would bolt to the damper pulley that would allow me to turn the crank in a safer manner with a pull bar? Thanks!
