    1967 Buick LeSabre 400 Custom Sports Coupe Decoding

    So I bought this car a couple years ago as a project for me and my dad. Got it for about a grand, with the trunk freshly fiberglassed. All in all, I want to attempt a decent custom restoration with this thing since he has moved out of town. Having a paint and body partner helps, but I'm considering going back to the original color and trim. So here's my dilemna: I've looked at all the available resources to find the paint codes and trim codes but... my codes aren't on these lists. It was obviously a custom build, fully loaded, at least in 1967. On the Original(yes original, kinda torn up but its legit) build sheet there is a "411" above "Trim" and "TTA" above "Paint". All I get from the list is ivory/ivory/black, but it doesn't say anything about a code with 3 colors. Would this have been a vinyl top in black with ivory on the rest of the car? I'm really curious about this as I've searched for years now trying to figure this out exactly. Any input helps, even if it's calling me dumb for not realizing what these codes mean. lol. Thank you all!

    Trim 411 = Blue Cloth and Vinyl with bench seat, available on style 45439, 45469, 45487, 46439, 46469, 46487

    Paint TTA
    T = Ivory lower
    T = Ivory upper
    A = Black top

    Compare this to your body tag (under the hood on the firewall), it probably says paint is T2 or TT2.

    Thank you Buford26
    I figured that's what it was just wasn't sure. It's currently painted with white house paint and two blue racing stripes down the middle.But the block is original, with 71/72 heads. Interior needs some work but most of the car is there. Just trying to figure out what to take it to colorwise.
