52 Special.

ive read else where that 79 el camino springs will drop the rear 3 inches
lowered a 51 super with 84 monte ss rears. lowers rear 4-5". not sure about fronts. remove rubber blocks and cut spring is what I had on my special for a while. you have to be careful with the front. lower too much and pitman arm will contact the ground and tie rods will scrape the frame. a little heat and beat will resolve. I really want to install a rack in mine with fatman uprights. you can flip uprights on Pontiacs, I don't think you can on these buicks?

I have a 52 special that Im ready to drop... I have 6v and car needs wired, so while I wait to do that, Im planning on using 79 el camino springs to drop rear but im not sure which ones to get.. theres 3-4 options.
Any help ??
I'll probably cut a coil or two on the front till I get my electric done,,,,then bags.
Thanks
Im about to get the 79 el camino rear springs...but not sure which ones as there are a few choices. Moog has a few options.. Any ideas?
Im gonna do bags after I convert to 12v and redo wiring as its a mess... but for now, I was planning on cutting front OEM coils and putting the el camino coils in rear..60.00 bones!
Could wizzard be referring to some kind of aftermarket T-bar suspension? I am not aware of any, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
Or, if no aftermarket, could he mean to adapt the stock suspension from some kind of Mopar or maybe even a 60-62 Chev/GMC truck? I have such a truck, and it does look possible, by swapping the crossmember and the T-bar frame brackets.
