1955 Buick Special 2dr Hardtop

Hello Guys,

I recently started to get my Buick to life again after being stored for 14 years. Registered to this forum to learn more about my car. Still struggling to find out whether it has positive or negative earth, although I've been going throught the electrical diagrams partially.
Perhaps someone can get me in the right directions on this? Would appreciate this.

Negative ground for sure. I think it may be safe to say that probably ALL 12V US cars are negative ground, although this is certainly not true for the 6V cars.
