If you have been working on Chevys up till now, you may be in for a bit of a shock. The biggest difference between a Chevy project and a Buick project is parts availability. All kinds of parts are reproduced for Chevys and almost nothing for Buicks.
Also, if your Chevys were old enough to include the torque tube years, you will find the Buick torque tube arrangement to be very different from Chevy and more difficult to work on, IMO.
Please don't get me wrong on this. I am not in any way trying to imply that Chevys are better CARS than Buicks, only that they make for easier PROJECTS.
Just out of curiosity, what year Chevys did you have?
