    No luck

I could not get even the 30wt to pump. The oil pump seems to load up, but no oil comes up to the head. I tried turning the pump both clockwise and counter-clockwise. I'm believing that the last time this motor ran in 1981, there was a catastrophic failure. This resulted in the crank, rocker assembly and distributor seizing. Time to bite the bullet, pull it and tear it down.

Yes. I really appreciate your question. I have finally gotten the motor to turn by using a jack up against the flywheel. I got a new Optima 6V battery to hook up after I free up the rocker arm assembly. In no hurry, but am just about to do a bit of electrical repair to get the battery to crank. I broke the base off the distributor from "tapping" It was also stuck from very dried sludge. This motor did not have a filter..... I still have hope to get her running.
