    rear bags

IMG-20130407-00074 (Small).jpg top hat. this is just the beginning, center a hole and install removed coil spring bolt. or another bolt? then weld it in. then weld a plate to this that you mount the bag to.

    rear bags

above pix show the completed assembly. note the hole for air line routing on tophat and upper spring bracket. also on the tophat 2 holes for bag mount access. hole saw broke so I had to improvise. I also bought pre stamped plates for most of this. then cut tube to length and weld up.IMG_2945 (Small).JPG

    rear bags

now onto the lower bag spacer. this will keep the factory bracket and stud. I did cut the stud down a little. I used 2 plates and a tube then made a sandwich. remember to connect upper hat to bag then screw into place. bolt plate to bottom of bag. then mark where it will be easiest to make a window so you can get the nut in there on the stud.............................................. .................................................. ........................................IMG_2966 (Small).JPG

air tank/ pump/ valve mock up

this is what I have mocked up for now. a little ugly. I bought some of this used. 2 viair 380 200 psi compressors, red block/ 8 solenoids. 5 gal tank and 3 gal tank. I have it set up to raise and lower the front and rear using 2 dpdt intermittent switches. then the other 2 switches are spdt set to dump each corner. again, this is ugly for now and I will clean it up in the future.IMG-20130423-00139 (Small).jpgIMG-20130426-00147 (Small).jpg

    compressors

I wired the compressors to a pressure switch to cycle. also wired them up through a relay. only thing I might do is move the compressors or try to deaden the sound somehow. this is all 12V. next one will be with a converted A/C pump and air toggle switches.

    shocks

almost forgot. you keep the front A arm dampers. the rear keeps the lever action hydraulic dampers. I think the linkage should be cut down/ welded or use an adjustable turnbuckle. to try to keep the valve at 50/50 if you plan on driving lowered. I have been cruising this setup for over a year now. rear is a little bouncy. I think I will install turnbuckles.
