    Another 1949 decoding challenge!

    I recently purchased a 1949 Buick Roadmaster Sedan in Washington State, USA, and am having difficulty finding how to decode the information contained within the vehicle identification plate.
    I wonder if you would be able to assist in decoding the following information, or could recommend someone who could?
    I would certainly like to compare the car now with the car as it was when new.

    The info on the plate is;

    1949 Mod.
    Style No. 4769
    Body No. C-41
    Trim No. 70
    Paint No. 910

    Vin number is 25030483

    Thank you so much, Buford, that is an excellent job.
    there is so little on the internet about these codes, it's god that someone can still decode it the old fashioned way.
    many thanks

    kind Regards,
