    1962 Skylark disk brake conversion

Has anyone converted the front brakes on a 1961-2 Skylark to Disks? I converted my 1964 Wildcat and it made a world of difference so I want to do the Y body but haven't seen a kit anywhere. Has anybody done this?

I have not converted a Special like yours, but I have used this company's products on other cars without any problems.

I have used Scarebird's disc conversion and it works well. Great thing is all the brake parts are over the counter stuff and easy to get.

Thanks for the advice, I went to their website and ordered the caliper brackets, came in 4 days, look great and I will get them on the car over Thanksgiving weekend, Thanks again, Bob

Thinking of doing same, what rims did you use and what did you do with rear tires.

got a set of wheels for a datsun 240 Z, 8x15 4 lug, converted left side to right hand thread lugs. Stance is perfect and clearance is good.
