Does this give you any insight? http://www.teambuick.com/reference/fuel_vacuum_pump.php
had a leak on my reman pump. most of the bolts are stripped out. I pulled the fuel bowl off to look at pancake. when I did I pulled the stem out. now I am having a hell of a time getting the diaphram stem hooked to the linkage. any tips, or is this simple for everyone else? looks like it should be.

Actually, the entire '52 manual is in the reference, here is a link to the fuel part:http://www.teambuick.com/reference/l.../files/3-d.pdf

OK, this really is simple. I just bent the eyelet on the fuel diaphram toward the linkage a bit. now it stays on. made a tool to keep arm part stroked and hooked up vacuum diaphram. this was a reman pump 2 years ago. now after assembly my fuel issues went away and wipers work. I win but feel like a dummy. should have been a 1 hour fix.
