    1963 Buick Skylark

I am ready to buy a 1963 Buick Skylark restoration project - the ad says: "Professionally built, balanced, blueprinted engine with all the good parts, installed, started, never dyno or driven, it has been sitting 7 years. Mild Hot Rod project. Original aluminum V8 Engine alone has several thousand dollars into it. Car is Pw Steering, Pw Windows, Pw Brakes, Pw Seat". Could anyone tell me if $1,500 is about the right price? The condition is definitely a restoration. Needs a battery, seats are in good conditions, windows are original. Just want to get an opinion if $1,500 is a reasonable ballpark price. I am new here so i'm sorry if I didn't post the right information.
    Thanks, Tony

The engine has very little effect on the selling price. What really matters is the body and interior condition, since those are the most expensive areas to repair. IMO, $1500 is low for a car which looks good inside and out, so specifically what is damaged, missing, etc?
