The listings for BENDIX Part # 11328 and ACDELCO Part # 18M1048
don't say anything about power brakes. Don't just order them off the page though. Ask first.

I have to replace the master cylinder on my '69 Le Sabre, but I cannot find any listings for one with manual brakes,as My car came with. I checked NAPA, O'Reilly, and Auto Zone, all they show are ones for power brakes. They do list master cylinder rebuld kits. Should I go that route?

I just installed a power brake booster on my 64 Wildcat.
no big changes, I had to drill a couple holes I the brake bracket
and make a new MC to brake line connector. I got the booster
out of a 94 Buick Century.
The complete booster and MC, for drum brakes, is available from CarsInc for less
than $100.
If you rebuild the MC, check to make sure the cylinder is smooth (no pitting),
the Wildcat had been sitting for 30+yrs and the original MC was not rebuildable
because it was pitted so bad

There is nothing "unoriginal" about putting power brakes on a 1969.
My 64 LeSabre came with power brakes.
I put disc brakes on the front of the LeSabre, so I did have to install
a partitioning valve. I kept the drum brakes on the Wildcat. Now she
stops on a dime, instead of taking a football field.
I never said it was unoriginal, they were optional. Since My car was not ordered with power brakes, that is the way I am going to keep it for now. All I am doing, is getting it back together so I can drive it and enjoy it for awhile. Maybe down the road I would consider doing a conversion, but not now
