    1960 Electra 225 401 Nailhead Oil Leak

My 1960 Electra 225 has a bad oil leak between the rear of the engine and front of the transmission. I suspect it's the engine rear main seal. It actually pours oil out when sitting at at stop light. Has anyone else experienced a leak like this? I suspect the easiest way to change that seal is to pull the engine/transmission together and split it on the floor. Any experienced thoughts out there?

I agree completely about pulling the engine and transmission together. This would always be my first choice if I have to separate the two.
