    1960 Buick evaporator R&R

Looks like the evaporator needs to come out of my 1960 Electra sedan. What is the best proceedure?

A/C info is in Group 11 of the chassis manual which you can find here, the lower link, section 11/20

Maybe someone else can give you some hint on approach.
Make sure you drain the system before you start, now-a-days you are supposed to take it to an a/c shop and use a recovery system to slow global warming. After you open the system, keep the ends sealed as best you can.
