    Washington/Idaho/Oregon meet?

Hey fellow Buick owners, how about trying to get a Buick-only meet this spring going? I should have my '41 Special on the road within a couple months, and there is a huge show here in Spokane usually around the end of February called the Auto/Boat Speed Show. What can we get going? Ideas anyone?

Probably going to be tough to get those from the West side of the state to come over as early as Feb./March given the chances of foul weather, but maybe April/May?

There is an all Buick Show in Puyallup in June and another one in the Portland area in August. Do you make it over for either of those?

    Wa/Id/Or meet

I don't know if I can make it over for both, but am going to at least try for the one in Portland. I know someone down that way, and need to pick up a fender for my 51 Roadmaster from him. The big car show over here that I was talking about I found out is at the end of March, the 28th-31st. I just finally gave up on trying to make it to Viva Las Vegas this year, so I am definately entering the show (Spokane Auto/Boat Speed Show) I know thats a little early given how bad the pass can get, but it would be nice. Also trying to find anyone from my side of the state too on here.

The Portland show is good, I think there were about 90 Buicks last year, and I think the WA show had about 125. I know a few guys on your side of the state, but I don't think they are on here, they are usually on www.v8buick.com it seems.

I am planning on entering both Buicks in the Auto/Boat Speed show, so maybe we should just plan on a meet here in Spokane that weekend. Even if it is just a handful of people, it is a starting point I figure.

Angry Bad news for the attempted car meet....

I just got official news that the Spokane Auto/Boat Speed Show is cancelled this year. It would have been the 50th anniversary of it, and would have been a damn good place to get a local meet set up. Oh well, guess we will just have to try something else. I got into a car club last week that holds a meet up in the Wandermere area in May, so that might be a better starting point.
