So i just bought this beautiful lark. I payed $3,000 for It. I'm about to turn 17 and this is basically my first car. The car is almost all original excluding the wheels and the interior has been redone. It has 79,000 original miles on it. Under the hood is a 350 with a 2bbl Rochester carb. This has been my dream car for a while since I saw one for sale a couple years ago. I saw this one a while back for sale for $4000. The price dropped to $3500 and I decided I need to go look at It. I went to test drive It and two of the tires blew out after hitting a little pot hole while getting onto the road. (only got about 50 feet) So I met him the next day at a walmart to put new tires on It. (only near by place with tires) The car needed 4 new tires cause They were pretty rotted and worn. So we agreed on the price of $3000 and I payed for the 4 new tires. Im so happy to have a Skylark. I think they are one of the most badass muscle cars out there. My personal favorite obviously!
