Hey guy's I am T.J. from South Carolina, im 23 and recently stumbled across a very clean and straight 4 door electra 225 in our towns local scrap yard and I am currently waiting on the woman to sell it as she said I am first in line to get it. I have decoded the vin tag which is 482697H143523 which breaks down to a buick 4 door post sedan, 1967 built in Flint mich. Today I got the fisher body tag info and protect-o-plate which are as follows
trim tag
10d
ST67 48269 FL1 58682 body
TR 633 A HH Paint
5X FS 2ET
4F 5K
Protect-o-plate
635 HH R
A137
BT 297 247
I found that their is an options list located in the trunk? but the the car has no keys so therefore I couldn't look to verify this but the interior is loaded for a 1967 model car, power everything, a/c, am/fm radio and all. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am realy excited about restoring this car. Any advice or questions are welcome!

thanks for the reply bob! I've already looked at everything in the reference, found that the 633-a is a saddle color bench seat. And that H-H is a green mist iridium paint color. What i was curious about were the accessory codes but I cannot locate a list of codes to see what is what.
the Atlanta Buick guy may ( or may not ) be along shortly.
he can decode them for you.

I think the list of options on the sticker in the trunk is only for later cars (like late 1970's and later).
Body tag:
10D = body build date = October (10) 1966, fourth week (D)
ST = Style
67 = 1967 mode year
48269 = Fisher Body style number (decodes same a VIN)
FL1 = Flint MI plant
58682 = body sequence number (no relation to VIN)
TR = trim
633 = Saddle Cloth and Vinyl
A = seat code = bench seat
HH = paint code = Green Mist Metallic (lower and upper, i.e., a single color)
Option codes
Group 1
Looks like there is a problem with group 1, so check the tag again, they should all be letters, no numbers
X = Power Window
F = 4-Way Power Seat (Bench)
S = Power Trunk Release
Group 2
E = don't know this one
T = Rear-mounted power antenna
Group 4
F = Remote contolled outside driver's mirror
Group 5
K = Door Edge Guards
Attached is a POP decoder for 1966, it shoud be similar to 1967.
635 = trim code, should match the body tag. There was no 635 so I'm guessing it really says 633.
HH = paint code = Green Mist Metallic
R = F for October maybe?
A = engine code (NA was for the 340-2V; ND, MD, or NE for the 430, so maybe check this again)
137 = engine day built code (A 137 should match stamp on engine)
BT = transmission code (BT = ST400 used in Wildcat, Electra, Riviera)
297 = transmission day built code (BT 297 should be on the tag attached to the trans)
247 = option codes? (2 = AC, 4 = radio, 7 = power windows)

Apparently the POP decoder didn't load because I've exceeded my attachment limit. So if you send me a PM with your email address I will send it to you.

to Buford, "Looks like there is a problem with group 1, so check the tag again, they should all be letters, no numbers" it has to be a G then, i rechecked my pic of it i took. The car has the 430 big block in it and the turbo 400 tranny. My email address is terrysharon355@yahoo.com thank you all for your replies and information its greatly appreciated!
The only thing I have for Group 1 option G is power tailgate, which isn't correct. Maybe they stamped group 5 twice. I don't have anything for Group 5 option X, but it could be some sort of seat belts. Might be helpful if you could post pictures.

well the woman at the scrap yard told me this morning that if the mans check bounces when she goes to cash it then the car was mine as I have cash in hand. I really like the old land yacht cars, and around here all you see are chevy impalas and so on, really hoping i can get this deuce and a quarter. I will post pics tonight or try to, I am on super slow dial up internet out here in the country to that really limits me on internet capability
