Hi all from Kansas.
I was directed to this site on the HAMB. Great site! I've been looking around for a couple days.
Ive always loved the Tri-Five GM's. So I jumped at the chance to snap up my 55 Special 2DRHT. It needs alot of work but it looks mostly complete; all glass is there and good (but I'm missing the drivers door window)
orig nailhead that spins freely (working on getting it fired)
Looks like all the trim is present.
But I have a few questions;
Does anyone make quarter panels for these?
Do any other GM Tri-fives share parts? (frame, suspension, brakes, glass, etc?)
thanks
On Special and Century some body parts/glass interchange with Olds. There is some front suspension parts interchange with Olds and Pontiac and also limited manual transmission parts interchange. Your best bet is to find someone with a Hollander manual for specifics on this. No other driveline parts, rear suspension, or brakes interchange.
