    More efficient water pump.

For my 57 Super 364cu. Does anyone know if a waterpump is available to help cure overheating that occurs when I am stuck in slow or stalled traffic. Of course the situation is aggraved intensly in ths Summer this being Las Vegas.

In that heat I have a better suggestion.

I would migrate towards a 'push' duel electric fan setup w/switch. You can engage these in traffic. The electric fans would push cool air through your radiator, while your static blades and shroud do their best to pull the air through in addition.

    Good luck

    Belated thanks Derek

Appreciate your advice regarding electric fans. Do you think this would be so effective as to enable the cooling system to cope with an air conditioner?

Temps get into the 100's where I live and my 57 will heat up too. I added a electric fan, 6 blade 19" engine driven fan, and a better shroud. The 57 shroud isn't very good. I think Im using one from a 56. It took some modification but made a big difference.
