    1950 roadmaster hood hinges

Hey y'all the hood opens up to ether side on my 1950 roadmaster but I can only get one latch on ether side to grab the hood and actually latch so is there any tips or tricks to making all four latches grab ahold of the hood? I mean this isn't the easiest hood system ever devised lol but man oh man when that big old good is on there does it look pretty thanks for all the help

I have a 52 and I would think it would work the same. Lift up the hood on the troublesome side and prop it open. You can manually open and close each latch manually and open by pulling the cable. Observe what is working and what is not. Maybe a good lube job or adjusting the cables. Are the latches lining up? Before you move anything mark everything so you can bring them back to original adjustment. Sometimes you think you have the problem identified, you make an adjustment only to find the real problem, then you have major adjustments to make to get the hood to close and fit right.
