    How too remove a 1966 Buick LeSabre Dash Pad

    hello everyone new too the site here and i got too say its great too see alot of other buick members i got a problem my dash pad on my 1966 buick lesabre is all cracked so i wanna remove it how would i go about that if anyone has any idea on removeing these dash pads it would be great too know thanks mike

    The easiest way is the remove the front side pilars. ( theres a screw and the top and bottom of these) Once those are removed, with a little arm strength, the pad pulls toward u and then is removed. Very simple!! :-)

    the 66 must be a lot different than the 64.
    on the 64 dash, there are 6 or so 5/16 push on nuts on the tits that
    go through the steel.

    I took the whole dash out to make it easy to get to mine
    A 1/4" socket set is ideal with a deep socket 5/16

    That info can be found in a '66 Buick Shop Manual ?
