340-4 Flex Plate -Super Turbine Auto Trans

Can't seem to remember how to index my flex plate to my crank. Flex has two large oval holes and one "smile"cut out so it's not uniform. Does anybody have a clue...

    Thanks

The bolt holes are staggerd on the 340 crank and flexplate. The bolts only line up one way through the flexplate with the crank. Now if it was a 364, 401 or 425, it would be another story.

    Yeah!

You are 100% correct! Went on only one way. Thanks so much.
