    trunk lock help

    how do i go about drilling out the lock on a trunk of a 67 buick lesabre

    Hold off drilling the lock except as a last resort. First, remove the rear seat back and shine a light in toward the trunk lock. If you can get an unobstructed shot at the latch mechanism, try making a tool out of rebar or anything else long enough to reach it.

    once i make this tool how do i go about popping the latch

    When you shine the light on the latch you should see what looks like a screwdriver slot in it. File or grind the end of the rebar to fit this. Then use the tool to turn the latch from the back side. You can do this without turning the lock cylinder.
