    1948 Buick VIN??

Hi I'm new here and was just wondering if someone could help me decode my VIN#?? Me and a friend just bought the car and are trying to get all the info we need to begin restoring the car, the VIN # is 34942560 1948 MOD 48-565, Style No 48-4507, Body No BL3769, Trim No 51, Paint No 23-1, Top ACC, Body by Fisher. The car is a 1948 Buick super 8 sedanet 2 door I believe. If someone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it cause I've been looking everywhere for some info on this car and haven't found much yet. Thanks, Chris

Thank you very much for all the info, I really appreciate it. I've been looking all over the place for that info, I'm currently looking for some sheet metal for the car, by any chance would you or anyone else know of a place to get some body panels for it? Its kinda hard to find any parts for these older buicks. Thanks again for the help.
