VIN Help for 1950 Buick 50 Sedan

Sorry, new to the forum so I am not sure I got the hang of this posting stuff.

I just found this in my Great Grandmother's Bible, registration of their Buick. Looks to be a 1950.

Can I get some help identifying the Buick? Model?, color?, specs?

Sorry, there is not much you can get from that. The registration tells you it is a 1950 Buick sedan and the serial number doesn't give you much more:

15981644
1 = built at Flint, MI
5981644 = sequential number, range for Flint in 1950 was 5,360,001 to 6,031,255

Thanks. I will ask around the family. I should have guessed, I have a 1960 Willys Jeep, and all the VIN tells you is where it was in line.
