    1951 Buick starter relay

I`m in need of a starter relay for a 51 Buick 263, does anyone have a part number for it? I can`t seem to get one at any of the local suppliers.
    I would appreciate any help.

Are you trying to do a totally stock resto? If not, you can use a separate relay, not mounted on the solenoid. A universal "cube" relay would work, or you could even use an old style horn relay with a slight wiring modification. These are available in both 6 or 12 volts, depending on whether or not you have upgraded the electrical system.
