    Welcome

Do a little research on that rear main. There is a modern rear main seal from a Buick V6 that works in the back of the Nailhead. I will research it as well. I know partnumber 474272 will work for the front timing chain cover. By the way, sweet car!!

I have those front & rear seals in stock. Included are directions & the sealer I use. Having directions usually saves most the time & hassle of doing it twice or more before the "Discovery" of the proper installation procedure.

i must not have discovered proper installation yet...did the rear main twice this week & it leaked both times after reassembly...ive done rear mains before but never in a nailhead...it seemed easy enough, made sure seals were facing the right way, cleaned bearing cap...even offset the 2 seals a little & it still leaks, the seals i used are from cars inc & are specifically for the 364ci...am i doing something wrong? i must be

The rear main seal is the same for a 264-425.
