    61 Buick LeSabre pinion nut

Can anyone please tell me what size socket is used to remove the pinion nut on a 61 LeSabre. I need to replace the pinion seal. Thanks. Semper Fi.

1 1/4" socket usually. BUT it could be 1 5/16" also... All depends.
