401 piston ring gap size (help)

I recently had my cyclinders honed out, and bought new piston rings. The rings are from hastings purchsed through TA. The id on the box says they are 4.1875, but the ring gap when check is .111 in size. When I check my old piston ring gaps they were only .035 in size. So I took my engine back to the machine shop to check the cyclinder bore, and its only few ten thousandths off from the stock bore. I was wondering if the factory placed the wrong rings in the box or if I should order over sized rings and grind them down. Any suggestions would help. Also, does anyone know where I can get the headlight motor to my 65 rivera rebuilt.
