far as I know, 1940 Special and Century, body,doors,rear fenders,glass, and trunk lid. except for some trim items, will interchange.

Can anyone out there tell me with all certainty , what if any, year or make rear fenders will interchange with those of a 1939 Buick special? I really need a DEFINATE answer, as I have several different makes and years to chose from, and cannot get a refund afetr the fact.

I am quite sure that everything from the cowl back on a 1939 Century is the same as a Special. The front end parts are different, due to the longer frame on the century. Not sure about the 1940.
