Are you running the PCV valve? Or any other sort of pan evacuation?

Is it blow by coming out of the breather, or is it oil spray around the bottom? If it is just loose oil, then you can take the cover off and make you a deflector for the underside of the breather hole.

If it is blowing out of the hole from pressure, then you may have a ring issue.

You need to add a pvc valve or a pan evacuation system to relieve the crankcase pressure.
Your build sounds similar to our 464 in our red car. We built a pan evacuation system to tie in to the exhaust just after the collector. PVC works better on a stock engine, but won't pull vacuum at WOT like the pan evac system does. You can get the kit from summit. It has the canister for the valve cover and a one way valve that needs to be by the exhaust. You weld the bung on the exhaust and screw the valve on. This helps create a negative crankcase pressure at WOT so you won't blow out oil.

you can weld them in after the mufflers.
we have a gs hood on this car and very low hood clearance. we cant run an air cleaner with this set up. without the plate, a deep drop base air cleaner worked.
