Question Making Progress on 1970 Buick

I had a post going on the 1970 Buick Skylark, I'm working with my grandson, but couldn't find it. So I'll start a new one here with a couple of questions.

We but the new steering parts on this past weekend and we have a couple of questions.

The torsion bar, just doesn't look right, but the shop manual didn't have a picture of it.

Looks upside down to me ???

Does anyone have a good picture of the front brakes, showing the correct placement of the springs and adjusters ? Again the shop manual doesn't have a picture that really works for us weekend mechanics !!!

I agree that angle looks a little funny. Have you tried turning it over? Is there any interference with any other suspension parts?

Here is a picture of mine, it's a '69, but I think is will be the same.

Here is a picture I took before I installed the control arms.

I am going to be doing some work on mine later today, and I will pull a wheel and take a couple more pictures with better light and post them later.
