Unhappy '84 Century Limited 3.0 widshield fogs up as heater warms up

While having my car smoged..it over heated cause of no auto electric fan control. Same time looked like there was smoke coming drom dash vents, was steam.
Ever since it fogs up windshield everytime heater warms up. Is it possible that there is a leak in heater core?? Never had this problem before it boiled over during smog test.
    Thanks for any help....

    BTW
My '84 also has a air purge fitting on water pump... have to make sure no techies open radiator cap or it allows air into system.... have to allow to warm upo to operating temp then open purge plug ( I switched to a "pet-**** valve")

Sounds like your heater core leaks. Generally you should also have a wiff of antifreeze. Is your carpet on the passenger side wet?
