Have you called Hilborn? I was under the impression that during the rat rod craze they started making them for the Nailhead again. Their prices might be high, but if you factor in what it takes to get an old set into usable shape it might not be that bad.

    Basicly ..........

Basicly the old injectors are the same,,,, its the intake manifold that is different for a nailhead....that said,,,, you would be better off running wise if you either made up a set that just looked like hilborns but had electronic injectors,,,, because the old mechanical injectors were a ton of trouble to run and tune....that is why they were never used on a production car...The old ''basic carbureators and fuel systems'' book that Peterson put out in the 60's has a lot about them in it.....

Thanks guys, I don`t know enough about them, just enough to get into trouble. They look way to cool on a nailhead. Let you know later what happens

Just "google" Tommy Ivo nailhead and you'll see lots of pictures of his injected Buicks - from the T-bucket to the four-engined four tire smoker.
