    Buick Carburetor services

    Hello all.
I am offering carburetor rebuild services now for all of us Buick folks. I have been building carbs for over 30 years, and have experience with most factory type carbs.

I have been building Buick carbs and selling Skylark parts for several years to get the spare change to build all of our Buicks.

Let me know if I can help you.

My car is choking and it dies. It is getting worse. I try not to put the brakes on all the way so that it don't die. Does this sound like the carb to you? If so , how much for a new or rebuilt one?
    Thanks Anna

Anna, several issues can be causing this, and certainly possible for your carb to be an issue. Vacuum leaks can cause poor idle and dying/sputtering especially when applying your brakes if you have power brakes.

what engine and carburetor do you have? For a Quadrajet, I charge $225 for a complete rebuild of your carb, or I can build a core I have for an additional $65 core charge.

see quadrajetpower.com for details of what I do on each build.

    Sorry I missed this.
you may also need to replace the base plate for larger throttle blades. You are correct, you can use the metering blocks and bowls on different body.

We've used Mark's services on a recent Q-jet, he does outstanding work and the carb worked great. We will be using his services again!

    Carb for a 67Riviera

    Hi..

I need a rebuilt carb.. Standard or Stage 1.. My current carb is a Quadrajet 7041306 with a divorced Choke..

I would prefer to convert the carb into an electric-choke operated carb..

Do you have any "Core carbs" or would you prefer I sent you my carb ? ( i know it's missing some of the choke linkage, though)

    My car is stock

    with Regards

    Sturla

Mark was recommended to me by a few others on another site. I called Mark one day about an issue, left a message and he called me back very quickly. On the weekend too. He spent a fair amount of time with me. Thanks Mark!
