It will be A LOT LESS EXPENSIVE to fix the 6 bolt top cover 3 speed. The trans. remained basically the same from the late 30's-early 60's.
I'm trying to get my car up and running on the road. The car now has a synchromesh 3 speed in it, and I want to put a dynoflow in it until I can get enough money to rebuild the synchromesh. Should I run in to problems? Tips from someone who has done this are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The parts that I could find for the 3speed where $800+. I got a dynoflow for $150 with flexplate and a rebuild kit for the dynoflow is $215. I want to keep the 3speed. If you know where I can get parts for the 3speed let me know. I already contacted northwest trasmission parts.
Thanks again.
