    Buick wipers

    Hello!

I have some trouble with the wipers.
They dont wipe the whole window, just in front of your face in like 45 degrees.
But when i turn them off, they go back to original position.
can it be the wires under the dash who needs to be tighten up a bit maybe?

You can see here how the wipers wipes

The wipers on your car are operated by a vacuum motor through a cable system. There is no electricity involved. The only thing I can think of is perhaps the cables need adjustment.

    Wiper travel

I do not think your wipers are out of "time". I believe your motor internals need lubed. Your wiper motor is not getting full travel internally. Remove the vacuum hose to the wiper motor and squirt some WD40 into it. Then hook it back up. Then try them out on a damp windshield. I like to do the simple things first.

I just did what you told me, but it didnt help at all, are you sure its not the wires on the wiper arms than need a adjustment? but sometimes the wipers wipes a bit more then 45 degrees, like 50-55 degrees. And the vacuum is strong and hoses seams to be soft and tight.

Or i need to remove the vacuum motor and open it and clean it total, but i dont know if i should do that by my self.
