Thanks and Hello

I wanted to thank everyone for the wealth of information I got from the forums. I have a 1970 Skylark Custom Convertible that I bought 6 years ago and finally did some minor restorations with the help of these forums:

- Added a Proform HEI distributor - timed 12 TDC at idle and 34 TDC at 2500 RPM
- Restored the cooling system including replacing the heater core and heater cables
- Painted the dash trim - will redo instrument cluster next year
- Splatter painting the trunk
- Had the peg leg serviced and determined it is a 2.56 gear ratio
- Had the rear seat restuffed and added rear seat belts - now the kids can cruise too!
- Replaced the vent cables
- Installed a rug kit
- Stripped and PORed the battery tray area

I started with the trunk and that is the only project not completed yet. Still have some projects left after that but enjoying every minute of it and the car, I call her Trish, is looking better all the time.
