    1973 455 motor with 1970 heads that shaved 0.40 with after market intake and carb...or 455 1973 full stock motor or 350 stock motor

    How about some details.

    Car, boat, plane. You wanting to race, drive cross country, sell.

    73 block, 70 heads, bore .030 with new pistons. Cut the heads for stage 1 valves. Open plenum SP1 intake and Quadrajet. Custom ground cam to fit your drive train. 450 or so HP on pump gas. TH 400 with 2500 stall and 3:08 gear in 8.5" 10 bolt with posi.

    carmantx...i have a 75 lesabre vert i really want a criuser motor/street motor what would u suggest i do?...the motors that i have right now 1975 350 buick and 1973 455...my budget is 800 bucks help me out please

    Are any of the ones you have running? Going to be tough to rebuild any of them for $800. Best bet would be to search and find a running 350 or 455. Should be able to find one for your budget.

    If you just want something to start and run, and cruise around. Then the 350 might be fine for you. I sure like the 455 power myself.

    yes the motors run..i just made up my mind 2day and going to total rebuild the 455 motor.i would like to get 500 hp out of it...

    For $800 you are not gonna be able to rebuild that motor let alone get 450-500 hp. Machine work alone will cost you $500-$750. Good Luck
