OK, I have a rough set of 2x4s. The rods are bent and the jets are missing. I am going through my carter stuff, but the numbers aren't working.
Front 3645S
Metering rod 16-286
Primary jet 120-256looks like about .092
Secondary jet 120-222 looks like about .112
Rear 3925S
Metering rod 16-219 seems to have steps about .069 and .063
Primary jet 120-256 looks like about .092
Secondary jet 120-222 looks like about .112
Can anyone tell me what the jet sizes are supposed to be and the metering rod steps, or what is considered suitable replacement numbers would be?
It's looking like the secondaries may get away with a 120-410 which is .110 and a 16-98 metering rod which is stepped at .068 and .0555
Thanks

Bob, I had these notes on file:
shop manual calls for the following:
Rear Carb -
Carb number: 3646S
Primary Jet: 120-256 0.092"
Secondary Jet: 120-222 0.070"
Metering Rod: 16-219
Front Carb:
Carb number: 3645S
Primary Jet: 120-256 0.092"
Secondary Jet: 120-222 0.070"
Metering Rod: 16-268*
*'64 Buick service manual incorrectly lists the metering rods for the 3645 as 16-268.
Metering rods (Carter called them step-up rods)
16-286 (front 2x4) ................... .0675 X .055
16-219 (401 and rear 2x4)....... .0685 X .063
There is a '65 shop manual online over at www.65gs.com
It's in the 'Electronic Garage'
