Thread: Where is the ignition switch 69 skylark

Where is the ignition switch 69 skylark

I need to replace the ignition switch on my skylark and the manual shows it somewhere above the steering column I think. But I cant figure out how to drop the column. Has anybody ever had to replace their ignition switch that can help? Its a 69 skylark and it is the switch that runs all the power, not the key cylinder part

Everybody can disregard.........I found the 2 bolts to drop down the steering column and the switch was on top of the steering column.
