Solving Hydraulic system issues when Converting 6V to 12V in a 1952 Roadmaster

    Hi Buick friends

We are two guys from Sweden having two Roadmaster Coupes from 1952, one each, we have a question regarding converting our 6V cars to 12V. Main issue is how to get the hydraulic system working (windows and seat).

Is there anybody out there who can help us with some hints, ideas how to solve this matter, what hydraulic pump can we use? Is there any aftermarket pump or pump for newer cars which would fit/work.

What about 6V cylinders used with 12V? Any known problems?

Any hints, ideas, instructions, help would be highly appreciated.

There must be some of you out there that have done this conversion, how did you solve this matter?

    What equipment did you use?

    Best regards
    Christian and Johan

    changing 6volt to 12 on a 52 Roadmaster

These cars worked perfectly when new with 6 volts, why bother changing?
