    Can a 46 straight 8 take a 4 speed??

I bought a straight 8 to play with for a potential rat rod. Has anyone ever figured out if you can hook any kind of a 4 speed to it??

    Awesome!!!

Wow I figured that there must be a way and you found it. Way to go buddy.
I too am grateful to G.M. for being consistant.
My last hotrod I mated a 409 to an 84 IROC 5 speed through a 67 Camaro bellhousing & had all kinds of people scratching there heads.
Want to make a Rat Rod with it W/4sp.
Thanks a bunch for the info!!
