I used the SC-116 hood scoop on my 67 from Unlimited. You can find it here (along with many others): http://up22.com/scoopw1.htm. It is a bolt on deal that I sealed to the hood and painted with the hood. I don't have a lot of pictures of it, but there are some here: http://www.buicks.net/show_and_shine/berry/, and one here: http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/9/...es/67%2036.jpg, and another here: http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/9/...Island%208.jpg.
You can see the bottom side of the hood here: http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/9/...es/67%2027.jpg. The carb was later sealed to the outside air with a aluminum pan rivited to the the bottom of the air cleaner. The pan was sealed to the under side of the hood with foam. The cowl scoop sealed to the carb was worth a 10th of a second in the quarter mile. A 10th of a second was a big deal since the car was already in the 11s in the quarter.
