Generator issues

[53 Roadmaster]

I have just rebuilt my generator on our 53 Roadmaster (322 Nailhead) and with the motor running it is putting out less than 1 volt. Pulled it off and double checked the rebuild and all seems in order.

Am I missing something? Any ideas on good replacement alternators?

Did you polarize it?Did you have the voltage regulator tested or replaced?What did you do to "rebuild" it?
