I got another '65 (my third) that is better than the other two that I own, so it will be the base for my restoration. It is a standard model - no air, no rear door release, etc. I have all the deluxe parts to upgrade the interior. I will have to add aftermarket air, if I do get AC.
But first...
I am trying to remove the rear side glass. I have all the bolts and nuts removed and the glass and window mechanism are loose, but I can't figure out how to get the glass off the mechanism to get it all out. I also need to repair the sheet metal under the chrome body molding.
The motor is bad, so I can't power the window down. Any ideas? Is there a manual that you would recommend that has the procedure down (like a Haynes manual does)?
I am also changing the glass to the deluxe tinted from the standard clear.

You probably need a '65 Buick Fisher Body Manual ( ...if one was available), to determine the proper procedure to adjust/remove or replace your window glass. They are available for my '68, so I assume a simlar Buick publication was available for '65s ?
Also, power window motors need a good chassis ground to operate. You can apply +12 vdc direct to the two motor contacts with a jumper wire (... window up/down), and a proper ground to the motor mounts to get the window glass to move, or check the working status of the pw motor.
CAUTION:
Make sure you don't jamb any body parts in the pw window mechanism, using this procedure !!
