I believe it was 1936 or 1937. I know Olds used wood for sure in '36, maybe Buick also.

1938 Series 80 and 90 were the last buicks to use structural wood in the bodies according to the Standard Catalog of Buick. The smaller Buicks had already gone over to all steel construction. Larger Buicks still used wood due to the much smaller production numbers.
