Comp cams makes thumper cams for buick 350's now. 517/509 lift 469 was biggest until recent found on summit

Yea , saw that.Wonder what they sound like ? Youtube has a blue million sbc's beating the ground with these things , but a 350 buick with its 3.85 stroke (same as 460 ford) vs the 3.48 of the chevy . I cant wait to hear one on youtube or see one in person !!!!

My car has been rebuilt motor a few times. The last one had to high compression and got a knock. This rebuild was done by my mechanics at Larrys and it has a custom ground cam. It realy didnt cost much at all and I dont realy have the specs.. It needed to be advanced and a 3k stall converter. It runs realy good and sounds fantastic. Cars dont sound like that anymore. Sounds just like a 65 365hp 327 corvette solid lifter nonfuelly motor if you are familiar. It just makes you think Wow. But its just a 350 and I rarely drive it unlike when I restomodded the car in 92 when it did 1000 a week. I guess it has plenty of power to sit in the garage. Should have big blocked it. It has 3.25 rear for cruising with a 7oor4 chevy trans for the old driving miles but now thinking of a gear change for more gittyup. Screw milage it dosent go out much. Also need new wheels and my tires are now old enough to drink. What gears? Should I go all the way to 4.11? With the overdrive how would that be? Anyway the cam sounds great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ford 9 inch rear from Curry because back then you couldnt get all the parts to make a GM rear new. . This thing actualy more like a streetrod that looks like a GS convertable.

Before the 3k converter it caught rubber in 2nd and 3rd and you couldnt stop a chirp when it hit 2nd, but it wouldnt idle at a light in drive.
